Tennis stars came out in force last night for the Sony Ericcson Players party at the Opium Lounge in Miami's trendy South Beach. Among the celebs on the red carpet, we found Venus and Serena Williams, Andy Roddick and Novak Djokvic.

The Sony Ericsson Open will be played at the 13,300 seat stadium at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne from March 26 to April 6, 2008.

The day after graduating from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale's Fashion Design School and launching her new fashion line, EleVen, Venus Williams took some time out of her busy schedule to relax by a Miami Beach pool with her boyfriend, Henry Kuehne and friends.

By getting her associate's degree in fashion design, she made good on a vow to have a career on which to rely when her tennis days end. "I love fashion, and the idea that I am using my design education to actually create clothing and footwear that reflects my personality and energy both on and off the court,'' the 27-year-old 14-time Grand Slam winner, said in a statement.

It's reported that Williams graduated with a 3.5 cumulative grade point average and captured the honor of Best Sportswear Collection.

Venus Williams had a party last night celebrating the launch of her new clothing line and her graduation from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale's Fashion Design School. The party featured a fashion show premiering her new clothing line, EleVen, available exclusively at Steve and Barry's. Her sister, Serena Williams, was also there to show here support.
