Val Kilmer dropped in at Sushiya today for a sushi fix. The hunky actor has just replaced Will Arnett as the voice of KITT in "Knight Rider." The series is a remake of the classic sitcom originally starring David Hasselhoff.

Kilmer was reportedly chosen for the role after conflict emerged from two of the world's leading carmakers. Arnett has for years been under contract with General Motors as the voice of GMC trucks and, while KITT was a Pontiac Trans Am in the original series, he is now a Ford Mustang. Given that and that Ford heavily sponsors the series, GM cried fowl and forced his replacement.
