Ryan O'Neal made a trip to the store today to pick up some essentials and we came upon him as he unloaded his goods, including groceries and some fresh flowers, from the car in his garage at his Malibu home.

Ryan O'Neal was arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning at his Malibu home for allegedly assaulting his son Griffin. Ryan was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm and released on $50,000 bond after police and paramedics were called to the scene. No information has been provided by police on what caused the dispute. Before he was famous, Ryan once served two months in jail for a fist fight.
