AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) held their seventh annual Oscar Viewing Party last night in West Hollywood. Among those in attendance were Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ross McCall, Ricki Lake, Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, "Queer as Folk" stars Michelle Clooney and Thea Gill and "Sordid Lives" writer/director Del Shores and star Jason Dottley.
AIDS Project Los Angeles is dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by HIV disease, reducing the incidence of HIV infection and advocating for fair and effective HIV-related public policy.

Amanda Bynes, Ricki Lake and Elijah Kelley were among the attendees of the Hairspray screening at the Palm Springs Film Festival yesterday.Ricki Lake starred as Tracy Turnblad in the original film, written and directed by John Waters, released in 1988. She also played an agent in the new film.

John C. Reilly, Jack Black, Molly Shannon, Ricki Lake and Will Ferrell were among the stars who attended the premere of Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood last night.
In the film, due in US theaters on December 21, singer Dewey Cox (Reilly) overcomes adversity to become a musical legend.

Carmen Electra, Jodie Foster, Ricki Lake, T.R. Knight and Joely Fischer were among those we spied on the red carpet at Cracked Xmas 10 benefiting the Trevor Project in Los Angeles last night. Jodie Foster presented The Trevor Founders Award to two of the organization's founders, director Peggy Rajski and screenwriter James Lecesne, in memory of the organization's third founder, producer Randy Stone, who passed away unexpectedly in February of this year.
"I am extremely pleased to have the opportunity to present the first Trevor Founders Award to Peggy and James in memory of my dearest friend, Randy," said Ms. Foster. "Their inspired decision to establish this vital organization and their ongoing commitment to saving young lives are indeed worthy of recognition. The very fact that, after ten years, Trevor continues to pursue its mission so successfully is a testament not only to the founders' initial vision, but also to the importance of the organization's efforts to help desperate young people realize that their lives have value."
The Trevor Project is a non-profit organization that operates the nation's only around-the-clock suicide prevention helpline for gay and questioning youth.
