Paula Abdul was busy preparing for the big "American Idol" finale yesterday. We found her at XIV Karat shopping for gifts for the finalists with her little dog in tow. She later stopped in for some dinner with friends at Beso in Los Angeles. She showed off her dog's "pawdicure" that included freshly painted nails and a unique "Cold Hearted Snake" pendant hanging from her neck.

Even Paula Abdul doesn't know why her turn-ups are so huge! Maybe the petite star couldn't find any jeans to fit? Paula stopped by a hair salon in Beverly Hills and when she came out she met up with one of her youngest fans. The cutie also had cuffs on her jeans but they weren't any match for the American Idol judge's.
