Reports are that O.J. Simpson's girlfriend, Christie Prody, was hospitalized in Miami Monday for a "severe head injury" after a fall at a Miami gas station. Prody is said to have suffered bruises and head injuries and is in the intensive care unit of Baptist Hospital in Miami. A hospital statement said "She is in serious condition." Media speculation pointed the finger at Simpson and Simpson's attorney, Yale Galanter, told the media that his client was not being investigated and had nothing to do with Prody's injury. Prody and Simpson recently returned from San Antonio, Texas where they attended a Super Bowl party. The police report said Simpson told investigators that he and Prody returned from Texas on separate flights many days apart because Prody "was unable to fly back with him due to being intoxicated and having a dog on the flight." Also according to the report, a witness reports that Prody had been "intoxicated and always falling down" during the visit to San Antonio from February 1 to February 10.

OJ Simpson had his day in court today. The judge set his bail at $125,000, which OJ reportedly paid. He also was required to surrender his passport.

I'm sure he's glad to be out and get in some golf or, at least, be around some people. As of yesterday afternoon, OJ's visitors were few and far between and most were his attorneys. In all, he had four legal visits, one personal visit from his girlfriend Christy Prody and his sister Mattie Baker, and a religious visit during his entire time in jail.

Reports are in that twelve years after being cleared of double murder in a trial that is all too familiar with anyone who isn't living in a hole, O.J. Simpson is again behind bars, this time in Las Vegas on armed robbery charges. Simpson was taken to the Clark County Detention Center today to await arraignment in court sometime in the next 48 hours.

OJ was arrested following a robbery at the Palace Station hotel and casino last week and has been charged with two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit burglary and burglary with a firearm. According to reports, a gang of men, including at least one brandishing firearms, stormed into a hotel room and snatched sporting memorabilia from two dealers. The dealers have been quoted as saying that Simpson was the ringleader of the group.

Simpson has reportedly dismissed the incident, saying that he has done nothing wrong. "I'm not walking around feeling sad or anything. I've done nothing wrong," Simpson said, reportedly while lounging beside a swimming pool. "I'm having a great time." Simpson said he and some friends had gone to the hotel to reclaim personal possessions, including photos allegedly taken by Nicole Brown-Simpson — who he is accused of murdering — and sports souvenirs. He explained that the meeting with the sellers of the items was set up by a friend who had been suspicious about how the items were obtained. "You've got to understand, this ain't somebody going to steal somebody's drugs or something like that. This is somebody going to get his private (belongings) back. That's it. That's not robbery."

Reports are saying that OJ will legally have to give up his hard-earned cash to Ron Goldman's family.  On February 20, a judge determined that income from OJ's past work in movies, tv and commercials go directly to the murder victim's family.  OJ will, however, be able to keep any future dough he pockets. Although he was acquitted of murdering ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Goldman, OJ wasn't so lucky in civil court.  A wrongful death lawsuit ordered him to pay millions that he hasn't ever been able to fork up.  Simpson lawyers say that OJ makes next to nothing from his royalties.  The Goldman team, however, doesn't want to give up any chances.
