Nicole Richie is being all elusive, hiding her face like she just saw somebody from high school that she doesn't want to talk to when leaving the Beverly Wilshire Hotel yesterday. I actually think she looks cute here!

We all know that I loves me some Nicole Richie. From the reality show and book to the traffic court, I can't get enough. In the last thumbnail, you can see she's wearing an "H" necklace, presumably for Harlow. I think my cold, black heart just melted a little.

Nicole Richie hit up traffic school yesterday, presumably in relation to that "going the wrong way down the highway with vicodin in her system because she has severe menstrual cramps" thing from way back when. Then again, I could be wrong and she could just be there to brush up on her parallel parking skills.
You know who needs to go to traffic school? The Hogan family. How do we sign them up for these classes, and how soon can they start attending?
Ugh. Traffic school gives me flashbacks of the driver's ed class I took in high school. I'm pretty sure the teacher was Satan himself, and he barely passed me. Even then, he still called my parents and told them I had no business driving. Let's all hope Nicole has a better teacher than I did.

Here's a shot of Nicole and Joel (mad props and a shoutout to Robin for noticing that it's not Benji!) hitting up the DCMA Collective shop in Hollywood earlier today. Now, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that Nicole totally stole your grandma's couch out of the den, stripped the upholstery and made herself a dress. Even that guy walking behind them is over it. He's looking right at the camera with a face that says "I know. I can't believe it either."
I still can't believe how quickly she lost the baby weight. She's back to being freakin' tiny. On a related note, she picked a really cool name for her kid. Harlow Winter is way better than Pilot Inspektor (Jason Lee's kid), but still not quite as awesome as Moxie Crimefighter (Penn Jillette).

It was a big night at the Foxtail Lounge last night. Paris Hilton and boyfriend Benji Madden reportedly ran over a photographers foot while leaving and also at the club were Paris' sister Nicky and BFF Nicole Richie who looked like she had quite a good time, Adrian Grenier, Amanda Bynes and Brittny Gastineau.

It's reported that BFFs Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are planning to marry their boyfriends, twin brothers, Benji and Joel Madden, in a double wedding. Nicole and Joel have a three-month-old daughter, Harlow Winter, together. Nicole introduced Paris to Joel's brother Benji, who hit it off and went public with their relationship in February. New mom Nicole Richie has reportedly announced that she will be launching a clothing line for pregnant women. The line will be influenced by Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquiere. "I wore so much Balenciaga during my pregnancy that he was one of my main inspirations," Richie said.
Nicole gave birth to her first child, daughter Harlow, in January and wants to help make women look and feel good at a really emotional time in their lives. She said, a"It's about showing your best self, not your tired, worn-down self. Guys don't go through that, they just don't understand."

Brothers and Good Charlotte bandmantes Benji and Joel Madden held the exclusive grand opening cocktail party last night for their DCMA Collective flagship store, due to open today in the popular Melrose area of Los Angeles. Twins, Benji and Joel are currently paired up with BFFs Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, who were also at the event. Nicole and hubby Joel just had their first child and Paris and Benji have been dating for several weeks now. The DCMA Collective was founded in 2006 by Benji and Joel, along with their brother Josh Madden and Tal Cooperman. Other celebs who made appearances on the red carpet at the event were Paris' sister Nicky Hilton, Pete Wentz, Audrina Patridge and Christina Milian.

Paris Hilton stopped at a gas station, today, on Roberson Blvd in LA to purchase some cigarettes and gas up her Bentley. And, after stopping in at the shoe boutique Diavolina to try on some hats and sunglasses and buy some new shoes, she headed off to meet her sister Nicky and BFF, the very pregnant Nicole Richie, for lunch at Forte in Beverly Hills. The lunch date followed rumors that Paris had leaked photos from Nicole's baby shower last week. Paris has reportedly denied that she shopped around the shots of her "Simple Life" co-star's shower.

Pregnant and glowing, Nicole Richie was all smiles as she succumbed to a chocolate bar craving as she left a hair salon yesterday in Beverly Hills. It's been reported that she's also been craving dog biscuits (Ew!). I think the chocolate is MUCH better and so does Joel, apparently saying, "That can't be healthy."

Following her "time" in jail, Nicole Richie spent her first day back at home with Joel Madden in Glendale, California. She had a special coffee delivery from Joel's brother, Benji, first thing in the morning and Joel, wanting to be near his newly free wife, left the house only briefly, returning home five minutes later.

Nicole Richie checked into prison yesterday to serve a four-day jail sentence and was released after 82 minutes, officials said.
Richie, pregnant with rocker Joel Madden's child, was due to spend time behind bars at Los Angeles' Century Regional Detention Facility, the same one where her friend Paris Hilton served time just months ago. But after arriving at 3:15 pm Richie was freed at 4:37 pm under the local sheriff's early release guidelines.
A sheriff's department statement said Richie's release was standard procedure. "At this time, the criteria for a female arrestee sentenced to 30 days or less for a non-violent offence is as follows: the arrestee is booked, screened and usually released within 12 hours," sheriff's sergeant John Hocking said. "This procedure is based on jail overcrowding to manage population levels mandated by federal court guidelines."
Richie was handed the sentence at a court hearing last month where the 25-year-old daughter of music icon Lionel Richie was also fined $2,048 and placed on probation for three years. She was also ordered to attend a drug and alcohol education program.
Richie was arrested on December 11 after police received reports of a car traveling the wrong way down a busy Los Angeles freeway. She failed a roadside sobriety test, allegedly told officers she had taken the painkiller Vicodin and smoked marijuana and was later later charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and an unspecified drug.

Reportedly, over a meal of a breakfast burrito with eggs and bacon, Richie poured over a magical looking ad that showed off a purple bottle.

It's reported that Joel announced during Good Charlotte's performance at the Hot 99.5 concert last night at the Clarendon Ballroom that he proposed to his jail-bound baby mama on Thursday.

The pregnant Nicole Richie and good friend, actress Mischa Barton, shopped and ate (GASP!) together in New York, yesterday.
Nicole, four months pregnant, did her best to hide her baby bump under a loose-fitting dress. But, the dress was tight in all the right places as she proudly showed off her newly developed breasts. And, it looks like Nicole is eating for two as she doesn't appear as emaciated as she has in the recent past. Her looming four-day jail sentence didn't seem to be on the top of her mind, either, even though it must complete before the end of September.
Barton is currently in New York filming her upcoming flick, Assassination of a High School President.

Pregnant Nicole Richie looks like she is blooming! During a trip to the Neil George hair salon yesterday with beau, Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden, the usually svelt and flat-chested Nicole was busting out of her top.
The salon trip came just after reports surfaced that Nicole was rushed to the hospital recently over fears she was suffering a miscarriage.
BFF, Paris Hilton, says that Nicole is truly in love with Joel and will be the "best mom ever." She's elated at the thought of the lovebirds creating a family together.

Nicole Richie, pregnant with her first child, was "stoic and serious, but not emtional" as she was sentenced to jailtime in L.A. County Superior Court today for her wrong-way DUI bust in December. The sentence marked her second DUI conviction in four years.
The court commissioner sentenced Richie, represented by her lawyer Shawn Chapmen Holley, to serve four days in her choice of the City or County Jail (Her choice?!?!). She received credit for a fifth day for the six hours she served after being arrested.
She was also fined $2,048, ordered back to school for 21 days for an alcohol education course and was placed on three years probation.
Richie must report to serve her time before September 28th. She is due to give birth in January, 2008.

Well, the rumors are true. It was confirmed today that Nicole Richie is, indeed, pregnant...and engaged! The "Simple Life" star is expecting her first child with Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden and the couple are said to be planning to marry this summer.
Nicole is also currently facing DUI (driving under the influence) charges following her arrest last December after driving the wrong way down a California highway. Her trial date is set for July 11 and if found guilty, she faces a minimum of five days in jail.
The Simple Life, indeed!

Nicole Richie spent the day out and about in LA with one mission...........beautification. The Simple Life star had a mani and a pedi, a wax job and then spent over two hours with a private trainer. Nicole gave the paps her schedule for the day after calling our snapper into the nail salon. She exclusively told him where she planned on going next and said that she "just wanted everyone to be safe". Thanks for the concern Nicole! It's rare that a celeb thinks of us photographers.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were spotted at celebrity haunt Mr Chow on Saturday, just one day after she was briefly hospitalized for dehydration while on the set of A Simple Life. Continuing to fuel rumors of an engagement with Madden, Richie couldn't help showing off the bling band as she left the car but then tucked her left hand down by her purse as she walked into the restaurant.

Birds of a feather crash together ... sort of. Mischa Barton reportedly had a minor accident while driving Nicole Richie's car. The actress had just dropped off Richie at a tanning salon before bumping into another vehicle. Mischa has apparently been under some emotional stress since her sister was admitted to rehab. Chin up, Mischa! We do wish your sister a healthy recovery. As for Richie, it seems like her vehicle and she might be experiencing bad karma. She was charged with DUI on Friday after a December 11 arrest for driving against traffic in a California highway.

Hollywood Brat Nicole Richie was charged today with misdemeanor driving
under the influence, two months after she was arrested for driving on the wrong side of an LA freeway on Dec 11th 2006. According to the Los Angeles County district attorney's office Richie has a prior misdemeanor DUI conviction dated back to June 2003.
The California vehicle code states that if convicted of DUI twice within
10 years, a person can be sentenced to between 90 days and a year in jail,
fined between $390 and $1,000 and have driving privileges suspended.
Arraignment is scheduled for Feb. 21 in Glendale Superior Court (an LA suburb).
Richie is not required to appear because it is a misdemeanor case. Her attorney
Howard L. Weitzman said in a statement "Nicole will deal with these charges in the appropriate forum."
