Nicholas Cage takes a book break on set in London.

Cage recently purchased Midford Castle, a castle shaped like an ace of clubs in the English Countryside, for a reported $10 million. The castle is a a grade-I listed building that is one of the jewels in the designated Cotswold area built in 1775 and comes fully equipped with towers, battlements and a gatehouse. It was restored by designers in 1961, and fully modernized inside. The estate is situated in 45 acres of park and woodland and also features two cottages, an orangery, a priory and the ruins of a
chapel.

It is his third castle in a list of 14 properties around the world altogether estimated to be worth $65 million. They include Schloss Neidstein, a Bavarian medieval castle with 28 rooms, which sits on a hill and has a commanding view of its 395-acre estate of forest, meadows and fields purchased last year for $2.5m.

Nicholas Cage bought the spookiest house in New Orleans for a reported $3,450,000. The house is reportedly haunted by its original slave owners.

Adding this to his home in Glastonbruy UK, what's next Nic?....a tree house at Burning Man? Love him though....Nicholas Cage is among the very few who deftly dance between "blockbuster" and Real Cinema. Keep it up Nic!
