Songbird Mariah Carey looked radiant last night as she and new husband Nick Cannon showed off their wedding rings while leaving the Waverly Inn. The couple is in New York, recently returning from their Bahamian wedding after a whirlwind romance. Earlier in the evening they attended the Time 100 Gala Dinner, an event that honors the most influential individuals from artists and entertainers, scientists and thinkers to leaders, revolutionaries and pioneers based around the world.

According to new reports just surfacing, Mariah Carey has married Nick Cannon. The couple married in a small, private impromptu ceremony at Carey's Eleuthera home in the Bahamas attended by a few close friends, including Da Brat.

The couple sent the rumor mill into overdrive last weekend when Mariah showed off a huge $2.5 million diamond ring on her engagement finger at the afterparty for her new drama Tennessee, her first film role since the disaster 2001 movie Glitter.

The red carpet sizzled tonight at the VH1 10th Annual Save the Music Foundation event at Lincoln Center in New York. Among the attendees were Mariah Carey, John Mayer, Mya, James Blunt and Vanessa Carlton.

The VH1 Save the Music Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education in America's public schools and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child's complete education. Since 1997, the Foundation has provided nearly $40 million of new musical instruments to 1,500 public schools in more than 100 cities around the country, impacting the lives of over 1 million public school children.
