Kevin Costner rocked Rome last night on a European tour stop with his band Modern West.

According to Kevin, "Modern West really got its start when my wife (Christine) encouraged me to reconnect musically with John Coinman. I wasn’t really sure after all these years how it might work. I wasn’t really sure what to say. But if life has taught me anything it was not be stopped by the question or the unknown. 'F… it what did I have to lose but maybe some of the best times of my life.'"

Kevin Costner attended a press conference at the Hotel De Russie in Rome, yesterday, promoting a concert by his band, Kevin Costner and Modern West. Costner, his wife Christine Baumgartner, and baby Cayden are also taking advantage of the tour stop in Rome to get in some vacation time.

The stars were out in force for the LA Premiere of Mr. Brooks at the Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Thos in attendance included the film's stars Kevin Costner with his wife, Christine Baumgartner, and Demi Moore with husband Ashton Kutcher and daughter Tallulah Belle Willis, Macy Gray and Dane Cook.
