The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Los Angeles presented its inaugural British Comedy Awards last night at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles. Among the stars attending were Joss Stone, Kat Deeley, Billy Connelly and "Ugly Betty's" Ashley Jensen.

Joss Stone is a flake! Well, at least she will be the face of the new "Flake girl"! For those of you that are English, you will known exactly what I mean, for those of you who aren't it's all about chocolate! Flake is a Cadbury's chocolate bar and many of us Brits grew up listening to the tv ads with a now famous jingle that goes something like this....."Only the crumbliest, flakiest chocolate …", well it goes on but you get the gist. So, as I was saying, Joss is set to be the new face for the Flake Girl and will appear in ads that show the singer in a recording studio, taking a break and picking up a Flake bar and singing........all together now.... "Only the crumbliest, flakiest chocolate …". We caught up with Joss today at Fred Segal, already spending some of that flake money!

Soul singer Joss Stone has been taking in all that Fashion Week in New York has had to offer thus far and looked like she was having a great time when we caught up with her yesterday.

Reports are that one of the highlights for her so far was meeting Ana Ortiz of "Ugly Betty." Said Joss, "I met Ana from 'Ugly Betty!' "I just love that show. I don't really watch TV, but I download it and 'Lost' from iTunes."

Blues babe Joss Stone treats a young friend to a little rock stardom during her soundcheck at a Las Vegas Casino. When the tune was over she returned the boy to his backup singer mom with a high five.

Joss Stone sported some very purple hair and a set of crutches, yesterday, as she lunched at the Ivy in West Hollywood. They certainly didn't seem to affect her good mood, though as she was smiling, posing for photos and signing autographs as she left.

The crutches don't appear to be affecting her touring schedule either. None of Joss' upcoming concerts have been cancelled and she's scheduled for The Greek in L.A. next week.

British Soul Star, Joss Stone rocked Lucca, Italy yesterday. Earlier this year, the singer was ridiculed for speaking in an American accent during her appearance at this year's Brit Awards in February.

Stone insists she doesn't care how she is portrayed by the British press: "They (the label) said don't do anything in the UK because everybody hates you. I wasn't allowed to speak but I'm totally not shutting up any time soon - I never have and never will."
