Jodie Foster was in Rome, Italy yesterday promoting her new film Nim's Island, in US theaters now. She posed for photographs during the day and signed some autographs for fans as she made her way through the crowd at her hotel in the evening.

Jodie Foster had a very slight wardrobe malfunction at a photo shoot today with Abigail Breslin for her new film, Nim's Island. She got everything re-tucked and got back to business quickly, though, from the looks of it! The film, due in US theaters in April and based on the book by Wendy Orr and Kerry Millard, tells the story of a young girl who inhabits an isolated island with her scientist father and communicates with a reclusive author of the novel she's reading.

Carmen Electra, Jodie Foster, Ricki Lake, T.R. Knight and Joely Fischer were among those we spied on the red carpet at Cracked Xmas 10 benefiting the Trevor Project in Los Angeles last night. Jodie Foster presented The Trevor Founders Award to two of the organization's founders, director Peggy Rajski and screenwriter James Lecesne, in memory of the organization's third founder, producer Randy Stone, who passed away unexpectedly in February of this year.

"I am extremely pleased to have the opportunity to present the first Trevor Founders Award to Peggy and James in memory of my dearest friend, Randy," said Ms. Foster. "Their inspired decision to establish this vital organization and their ongoing commitment to saving young lives are indeed worthy of recognition. The very fact that, after ten years, Trevor continues to pursue its mission so successfully is a testament not only to the founders' initial vision, but also to the importance of the organization's efforts to help desperate young people realize that their lives have value."

The Trevor Project is a non-profit organization that operates the nation's only around-the-clock suicide prevention helpline for gay and questioning youth.
