Jimmie Johnson celebrated his win of the Nextel Cup yesterday at the Homestead-Miami Speedway after NASCAR's Ford 400. Also in attendance at the race were Jeff Gordon, presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani, artist Juanes, Fuel frontman Toryn Green and New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi.

NASCAR Hendrick Motorsports owner Rick Hendrick and his two drivers and contenders for the Nextel Cup, Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon, held a press conference yesterday at the Doral Country Club in Miami. Johnson and Gordon are the only two drivers of the 12 Chase for the Cup drivers eligible to win the Nextel Cup prize. The final race of the NASCAR season, the Ford 400, will be held at the Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida on Sunday, November 18.
