Sordid Lives, one of the hottest shows to hit TV in forever, is finally going to hit the MTV Logo network. I seriously can't wait to see Jason Dottley. I think I'll die of desire if he takes his shirt off, and I'm not even kidding. The show was written by his soon to be husband, Del Shores (who is more than a little bit of a genius).

It also has all sorts of different famous people, like Olivia Newton-John ("Grease"), Rue McClanahan ("The Golden Girls"), Leslie Jordan ("Will & Grace"), Caroline Rhea (one of the funniest ladies on earth), Bonnie Bedelia ("Die Hard"), Beth Grant ("Little Miss Sunshine")

Both literally and figuratively! There's seriously nothing I hate more than overzealous religious a**holes trying to dictate to others how they should live their lives. Good for Sordid Lives star Jason Dottley and his soon to be hubby , the talented Queer as Folk producer and Sordid Lives writer and director Del Shores, for giving them a piece of their minds. They also get bonus mad props and a shout out for looking effin' hot while doing it.

As an aside, you can totally tell that tubby dude on the right is kind of digging what he's seeing, while the dude holding the sodomy sign is pining for the gay lover he pretends he doesn't have.

Jdot & Del - good luck with the WORLD PREMIERE of Sordid Lives: The Series in New York City at New World Stages Tonight!!!! Which by the way begins airing on Logo July 23rd 2008.
WATCH IT!! ..........

The Logo channel's Jason Dottley and his soon-to-be-husband, director Del Shores applied for their marriage license yesterday in Hollywood. California finally came to its senses and began issuing them to same-sex couples last week. Double congrats to the happy couple, who have a wedding in the works and the series premiere of Sordid Lives: The Series on July 23rd to look forward to. Way to go, guys!!!

Also, mad props and a shout out to everyone who has been fighting (and continue to fight) for their constitutional rights to equality. Let's hope that all of the other states follow suit soon!

Jason Dottley takes a stroll with his hubby, Del Shores and a friend but ended up getting a shock. The trio bumped into a "character" on the street who stopped for a chat. His interesting wardrobe choice left the Sordid Lives actor in shock!

Recently, we found Caroline Rhea on the set of the new LOGO network series "Sordid Lives" in Shreveport, Louisiana. Caroline, seen in the photos with writer/director Del Shores and co-star Jason "JDot" Dottley, has also starred in "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" and was host of the reality series "The Biggest Loser." The show is scheduled to air later this year. Keep an eye on your local listings!

Jason Dottley is heading back to LA after filming the new LOGO series "Sordid Lives" with superstar Olivia Newton-John. But, his time in Shreveport wasn't without incident. It's been reported that discrimination reared its ugly head on the night before he left Shreveport. According to reports, Jason and his "Sordid Lives" cast-mate, T. Ashanti Mozelle, were at the Phoenix Underground, a local club, when they were accused of selling drugs and physically removed from the club before Jason was thrown to the ground in front of onlookers. After police searched and found no drugs, he was handcuffed and placed in a police squad car where he was told by an officer to "go back to California where you boys belong."

Star of the eagerly anticipated LOGO series "Sordid Lives," Jason Dottley took his new pup, Ty Guapo out with him to the Laurel Canyon Market near his home. On the trip, Jason tried to teach little Ty (named for Dottley's character in the show) how to walk on a leash. Based on the photos, it looks like Ty's got some learning to do! It seems the Ty wanted to walk himself and Jason's other dog, Rosie (who is equally adorable!).

Meanwhile, it's been reported that Jason and Del Shores, Jason's husband and writer/director of the series, want Britney Spears to guest star in the series. The two showed up at the Millennium Dance Complex where Brit was to have auditions for dancers last week to get some face time with her but, she was a no-show. According to reports, the owner of the studio will personally deliver a personal letter and DVD of the Sordid Lives movie to Brit and thinks it would be great for her to appear in the show!

It's been reported that, in an interview yesterday on Big Dick Hunter's Wild Ass Circus radio show, award-winning writer and director Del Shores announced the newest member of his cast for Sordid Lives: The Series. Shores announced that Golden Girl Rue McClanahan will join the all-star cast of the series playing the role of Peggy Ingram, the grandmother of Ty Williamson (played by Jason "JDot" Dottley).

Previously announced cast members include Olivia Newton-John, Delta Burke, Beth Grant and Leslie Jordan, just to name a few!

There are so many folks (including myself!) eagerly awaiting the series. This news just kicks the excitement up a notch! Can't wait!

"Sordid Lives" star Jason Dottley enjoyed dinner at Koi last night in West Hollywood with some friends from Mississippi. Rumor has it, the trio ended up drinking just a few too many while catching up on old times and Jason's husband, Del, had to come pick them up. At least Jason did the right thing and called someone to come get him. His publicist would be none to happy about any Lohan-esque antics just before "Sordid Lives" begins filming. And besides, the Hollywood DUI club has enough members already!

Actor Jason Dottley and his producer/writer/director husband Del Shores hit the Roxy Theatre last night where they caught the Debby Holiday and Suzie McNeil shows. The powerhouse couple is preparing to shoot the new TV series "Sordid Lives" for LOGO. It's been reported that many of the film's original cast will return for the series, including Delta Burke and Olivia Newton-John, who has written four new songs for the series with more on the way.

Debby Holiday, who is a good friend of Dottley and Shores, played "Bitsy Mae" in the "Sordid Lives" tour last year, starring opposite Dottley. And, her new single, "Piece Of My Love," just debuted in Billboard's Dance Top 40. Other hits from Holiday include "Dive," "Half a Mile Away," and "Bring It On."

I, for one, just LOVE Sordid Lives! If you haven't seen the movie or the play, you should! And, of course, check out the sitcom on LOGO when it premieres.
