According to reports, Will Smith has reportedly decided to start his own school. Will and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith have been home schooling their children Willow and Jaden and now Smith has shelled out around $1 million to lease a campus near his California home that he has named New Village Academy of Calabasas. The academy will be privately run for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.

The Kingdom premiered in Los Angeles at the Mann Village Theater in Westwood last night. Our cameras spied Jennifer Garner, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, Jamie Foxx, Chris Cooper, Amanda Peet and Jason Bateman, among others.

The Kingdom is scheduled to hit US theaters on September 28.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes hosted a gathering of Hollywood heavy weights to welcome David and Victoria Beckham to Los Angeles. The invitation-only party was held ad the Museum Of Contemporary Arts, Geffen Contemporary, in downtown Los Angeles.

The celeb guest list included Will and Jada Smith, Brooke Shields, director Ron Howard, Jim Carrey, Jenny McCarthy and newly wed Eva Longoria.
