The beautiful Natalie Portman attended the premiere of Le Silence de Lorna (Lorna's Silence) at the Cannes Film Festival today. Jackie Chan and some friends attended as well and showed off some karate moves on their way into the showing.

Jackie Chan, Chris Tucker, Rebecca Gayheart and Zhang Jing Chu attend the Los Angeles premiere of Rush Hour 3 held at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

The film has angered the Chinese government and Chinese authorities have decided that the comedy is "fundamentally anti-Chinese" and it may not be released there, reports say. But censors at China's Film Bureau stressed the movie had not been banned.

Only 20 foreign releases are allowed each year under strict rules governing cinema in China.

And one of them, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, was cut before it was screened in China last month. The disputed scenes involved Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-fat's, performance as a pirate. Chinese news agency Xinhua said the portrayal of his character as bald and scarred was an insult to the country's population.
