Hayden Panettiere was on hand at the Capri Hollywood Film Festival in Italy this weekend to receive the award for Best New Actress. The "Heroes" star and save the dolphins activist traveled to Italy with her family to receive the special award.

Jessica Alba and Hayden Christensen were among the attendees at the premiere of Awake at Chelsea West Cinema in New York last night.

The film focuses on a man (Christensen) who suffers "anesthetic awareness" and finds himself awake and aware, but paralyzed, during heart surgery. Meanwhile, his young wife (Alba) must wrestle with her own demons as a drama unfolds around them.

Awake is due in US theaters on November 30, 2007.
