According to reports, Brazilian beauty Gisele Bundchen wants no part of the US $. The supermodel now insists to be paid in Euros.
With the dollar hitting an all time low against the Euro and British pound, the 27-year-old supermodel's sister and manager, Patricia, has revealed that she demanded the change because of uncertainty in the dollar's strength. "Contracts starting now are more attractive in euros because we don't know what will happen to the dollar," she said.
According to the reports, when Gisele signed a deal to represent Pantene hair products, she demanded that Proctor & Gamble, the brand's owner, make all payments in Euros. She is also likely to receive Euros as payment for a new campaign to promote Dolce and Gabanna's "The One" perfume.
Bundchen, widely known as one of the most financially savvy models around and as the world's top-earning model, reportedly earns over $30 million per year from catwalk appearances and fashion endorsements. She reportedly stopped working for the Victoria's Secret lingerie chain because they would not renew her $5 million yearly salary.
