Elton John left a Beverly Hills hotel for the Academy Awards this afternoon with partner David Furnish. Elton is hosting one of the hottest tickets in town - the 16th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Party.

Elton John looked red-carpet ready yesterday even though the Oscars were still 24 hours away. Dressed in a dashing suit with flamboyant purple shoes in true Elton John style, the singer and his partner, David Furnish, paid a visit to a building in Beverly Hills that is rumored to house a psychiatrist to the stars, amongst other businesses.

Music superstar Elton John and long-time friend Billie Jean King hosted the 15th annual Advanta World Team Tennis Smash Hits, a special night of tennis featuring Andy Roddick, Lindsay Davenport and Anna Kournikova, among others. The event, held at The Pavilion at Villanova University in Philadelphia, benefits the Elton John AIDS Foundation and the local charity ActionAIDS.

Billie Jean King and Elton John co-hosted the event featuring the all-star list of tennis celebrities including Andy Roddick, Lindsay Davenport, and Anna Kournikova. The charity event helped raise money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation and ActionAIDS in Philadelphia.

Elton John just brought a new pad on the 20th floor stratosphere of LA's Sierra Towers. Did he get fed up living at nearby Beverly Hills Hotel?

Elton John is to rejoin the Sierra Tower rat pack in LA. He has purchased a two bedroom two and a half bathroom condo for nearly $2.5 million. The 1800 square foot pad has views from downtown LA all the way to the Pacific. Elton used to own a Condo in the 32 floor Sierra Towers, just off the famous Sunset Strip but sold it to Matthew Perry a couple of years ago for nearly the same price he has bought the new one for. The towers has a gym, a doorman and a rooftop pool. Lindsay Lohan, Cher, Geri Halliwell and Kate Moss amongst others have all been one time residents.

Elton's sure to dazzle in this outfit on Oscar night. Not too sure what his pooch is wearing though! Elton and his entourage were spotted leaving his hotel in Beverly Hills on as he left for the red carpet.
