A very dressed down Denzel Washington arrived at his London hotel last night. Denzel received the prestigious "Excellence in Film" award at BAFTA's (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) 16th Annual Brittania Awards.

Russell Crowe, Mel Gibson, Denzel Washington, Olivier Martinez and Lymari Nadal were among the attendees at the industry screening of American Gangster held at the ArcLight Theater in Hollywood yesterday.
The film tells the story of a detective in 1970s America who works to bring down the drug empire of Frank Lucas (Washington), a heroin kingpin from Manhattan, who is smuggling the drug into the country in the coffins of soldiers returning from the Vietnam War.
The film is due in US theaters on November 2 and UK theaters on November 16.
