As many fans of the film Sordid Lives already know the cult classic is being turned into a tv series for MTV's LOGO network. And, the good news is it's in production and on its way! We found series stars Olivia Newton-John (Bitsy Mae Harling) and Rue McClanahan (Peggy Ingram) on set recently with co-stars Sarah Hunley (Juanita Bartlett), Jason "JDot" Dottley (Ty Williamson) with his cute little friend Ty Guapo and writer/director Del Shores.

It's reported that the show will premiere on June 1 of this year and I, for one, just can't wait!!

Star of the eagerly anticipated LOGO series "Sordid Lives," Jason Dottley took his new pup, Ty Guapo out with him to the Laurel Canyon Market near his home. On the trip, Jason tried to teach little Ty (named for Dottley's character in the show) how to walk on a leash. Based on the photos, it looks like Ty's got some learning to do! It seems the Ty wanted to walk himself and Jason's other dog, Rosie (who is equally adorable!).

Meanwhile, it's been reported that Jason and Del Shores, Jason's husband and writer/director of the series, want Britney Spears to guest star in the series. The two showed up at the Millennium Dance Complex where Brit was to have auditions for dancers last week to get some face time with her but, she was a no-show. According to reports, the owner of the studio will personally deliver a personal letter and DVD of the Sordid Lives movie to Brit and thinks it would be great for her to appear in the show!

Finally, we get to see the newest addition to the Dottley-Shores family! And, as a bonus, we have some more photos of Jason's hubby, Del Shores, that so many people have asked for! J Dot and Del took their new pup Ty Guapo Dottley-Shores out for a little shopping in Hollywood today. Ty Guapo, a chihuahua, was adopted from designer Ashley Paige's non-profit animal rescue, Ruff Houzen, in LA.

Actor Jason Dottley and his producer/writer/director husband Del Shores hit the Roxy Theatre last night where they caught the Debby Holiday and Suzie McNeil shows. The powerhouse couple is preparing to shoot the new TV series "Sordid Lives" for LOGO. It's been reported that many of the film's original cast will return for the series, including Delta Burke and Olivia Newton-John, who has written four new songs for the series with more on the way.

Debby Holiday, who is a good friend of Dottley and Shores, played "Bitsy Mae" in the "Sordid Lives" tour last year, starring opposite Dottley. And, her new single, "Piece Of My Love," just debuted in Billboard's Dance Top 40. Other hits from Holiday include "Dive," "Half a Mile Away," and "Bring It On."

More info about the new series coming soon!

Sordid Lives actor Jason Dottley, hubby Del Shores and other BFF and Sordid Lives co-star T. Ashanti Mozelle played Scrabble and relaxed at the beach house in Malibu where Jason and Del got married. Looks like they are having one last weekend of summer before heading to Louisiana to film the "Sordid Lives" series.

I, for one, just LOVE Sordid Lives! If you haven't seen the movie or the play, you should! And, of course, check out the sitcom on LOGO when it premieres.
