David Hasselhoff spent some time last night with ex-wife Pamela Bach and their daughters at Il Pastaio to celebrate oldest daughter Taylor-Ann's 18th birthday (which is today!). The waiter brought ice cream with candles and it looked like a good time was had by all. David and Pamela even shared a warm hug before leaving the restaurant.

The stars were out last night at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino grand opening in Las Vegas. Thos in attendance included Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Tom Jones, Pamela Anderson, Patrick Swayze, Nelly, Danny Devito and Rhea Perlman, David Hasselhoff, Orlando Jones, Monique Coleman, Chris Kirkpatrick and "Pushing Daisies'" Kristin Chenoweth, Chi McBride and Lee Pace.

The resort, formerly the Aladdin, has been newly and completely renovated and includes 2,600 rooms, 15 restaurants including Koi and Strip House and 170 specialty shops and houses memorabilia valued at over $20 million. The new resort aims to be an interface between Hollywood and Las Vegas, serving as a venue for movie premieres, TV and film production and poker tournaments. Planet Hollywood founder and CEO Robert Earl, who is one of the investors, says "It's contemporary and a 24-hour party. We've created a unique backdrop for relations between Vegas and Hollywood, and we now have a $2 billion asset on the Strip with our trademark."

David Hasselhoff reportedly admitted himself into Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles for alcohol poisoning. Will this latest stint have an effect on his custody of his kids? He was awarded physical custody of his children but it's been reported that for the last five weeks or so they've been living almost full-time with David's ex, Pamela Bach, while he was in Europe shooting Anaconda 3.

David's rep reports that he checked himself out of the hospital later today and is doing fine. He and Pam are due back in mediation tomorrow to continue their custody battle.

David Hasselhoff and his pretty new blonde girlfriend Michele Lilley stepped out for an Italian dinner last night in LA. The Hoff once said in an interview that he was looking for a blonde with brains. "I want to find myself a beautiful girlfriend. But I don't want some dumb blonde. I'd like a woman who is really intelligent."

Also, it's reported that the former "Baywatch" star has won substantial but undisclosed damages from a libel case against two magazines that alleged he was "off his face" in a Los Angeles nightclub.

OK! magazine in the UK and its sister OK! Weekly in the US reported in July that the star celebrated his victory in a custody battle for his daughters by drinking irresponsibly in the Les Deux nightclub. On July 2, the US magazine claimed Hasselhoff "drank champagne like water" and "chugged down a full glass of champagne before leaving at the request of his partner."

The following day, OK! printed an amended version of the article, accusing him of "abusive" behavior.

David Hasselhoff left an LA court today emotional and jublient after being awarded sole physically custody of his kids and said that he planned to celebrate by spending Father's Day in New York. He also said that now the court had ruled he would like the focus to switch away from his personal life and back to his acting career. "Me running down a beach or talking to a car" said Hasselhoff who spoke outside the court with tears in his eyes. Hasselhoff said it was a "Beautiful day". His ex Pamela Bach entered the court all smiles but took her time leaving. "She didn't want to face the press after the ruling," said source who was inside the court after the closed hearing ended. "They had to take her into a bathroom and clean her up, she was very upset". Bach did finally make an appearance but could not comment on the proceedings. "There's a gag order in place," explained Debra Opri who is Bach's attorney. "We can't talk about the case".

The stars came out for the premiere of "The Beauty of Magic" at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino Theater for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas to support Pamela Anderson in her debut of Hans Klok's new stage spectacular.
