Happy belated birthday to Anna Kournikova, who turned 27 yesterday. Unfortunately, I was too busy running errands and being beautiful to post about it. However, it's still worth mentioning, and I'll tell you why:

In college, every guy I dated had at least one Anna K. poster up in his dorm room. She's been in two Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Edition magazines, has been named one of the most beautiful people on earth by People and is either married to or dating (people still can't figure it out) Enrique Iglesias. Plus, she's Russian. Everybody loves Russians.

Looks like Anna Kournikova's regular gym sessions have served her well! The Russian tennis beauty turned heads as she arrived at the Chanel Cruise launch at South Beach's Raleigh Hotel tonight wearing killer heels and a mini skirt that showed off her perfect legs. She was also flying the Chanel flag with a red Chanel clutch bag and flashing a very large diamond ring on her wedding finger.

Music superstar Elton John and long-time friend Billie Jean King hosted the 15th annual Advanta World Team Tennis Smash Hits, a special night of tennis featuring Andy Roddick, Lindsay Davenport and Anna Kournikova, among others. The event, held at The Pavilion at Villanova University in Philadelphia, benefits the Elton John AIDS Foundation and the local charity ActionAIDS.

Billie Jean King and Elton John co-hosted the event featuring the all-star list of tennis celebrities including Andy Roddick, Lindsay Davenport, and Anna Kournikova. The charity event helped raise money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation and ActionAIDS in Philadelphia.

Anna, 24, whose beau is singer Enrique Iglesias has never publically confirmed or denied that the couple may have wed. Anna removed the gold ring to play the match.

Also in attendance for the opening of the 2007 season were Mark Knowles, Milagros Sequera and Sam Warburg.

A still slender Anna Kournikova opens the 2007 season and unveils the Sacramento Capitals new home at Westfield Galleria at Roseville. She competed in the tournament for the Sacramento Capitals vs Springfield Lasers. At 24 years old, Anna has lost the hot bod she once had when she was at the top of her game but I am pleased to see that she has gained some weight compared to her super skinny self last year.

Anna Kournikova is reported to be the new K-Swiss spokesperson.  The tennis star will help bring the athletic shoe brand back to its tennis roots.  The K-Swiss campaign will emphasize athleticism, grace and confidence to overcome obstacles. Hey, if a pair of shoes can do all that, I'm already sold!

Tennis superstar Anna Kournikova awarded North Palm Beach Elementary School Principal Bill Thompson the national "got breakfast?" award.
Anna presented the award to recognize his work in championing the Classroom Breakfast model for serving breakfast and improving the health of his students, many of whom are from low-income families.  "got breakfast?" is a nationally recognized foundation that works with personalities and organizations that believe in raising awareness of the benefits of eating breakfast and its availability in schools. In 2007 the foundation is focusing on educating the public on Classroom Breakfast, which studies have shown to dramatically increase test scores and improve the health of children.
