The red carpet was ablaze with some of the hottest stars in the world at the premiere of Kung Fu Panda at the Cannes Film Festival last night. Jack Black entertained crowds and Angelina Jolie as he struck kung fu poses and Eva Longoria, Natalie Imbruglia and Phoebe Price showed off their designer dresses. Also at the premiere were co-stars Dustin Hoffman and Lucy Liu.

A very pregnant Angelina Jolie joined co-stars Dustin Hoffman and Jack Black at the photocall for Kung Fu Panda at the Cannes Film Festival today. While posing with Angelina, Dustin and Jack hammed it up for the cameras while pointing out her very large belly. Later, the two individually struck some poses, themselves. Black showed off his kung fu skills and Hoffman showed off his belly indicating he, too, could be pregnant. Ha!

Did Brad and Angie finally tie the knot? Reports are floating around all over the place that the couple were wed yestserday in New Orleans in a top secret ceremony at a chapel in the city's French Quarter. There are, however, just as many reports saying it's just not true......
The couple have previously said they wouldn't wed until everyone in the country (including gay people) had the right to do so. This being the case, plus info that Brad is supposed to be in Texas filming, makes the story doubtful but...... you never know. What's a flight From Texas to New Orleans when you fly private!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reportedly bought their own private island in Nhakeel's "The World" project in Dubai. The celebrity couple has purchased one of the artificial islands with a view towards turning it into a showpiece for environmental issues with the hope that it will encourage people to live a "greener life," the web site said.
The World will consist of between 250 to 300 smaller private artificial islands in the shape of a map of the world divided into four categories - private homes, estate homes, dream resorts and community islands. Each island will range from 250,000 to 900,000 square feet in size, with 50 to 100 metres of water between each island. The development is to cover an area of 9 kilometers in length and 6 kilometers in width, surrounded by an oval shaped breakwater. The only means of transportation between the islands will be by marine transport.

Among those on the red carpet at the LA Premiere of Beowulf were Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Nicollette Sheridan, Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren.
In the film, the warrior Beowulf must fight and defeat the monster Grendel who is terrorizing towns, and later, Grendel's mother, who begins killing out of revenge. Beowulf is released nationwide in the US on November 16, 2007.

Angelina Jolie received some critique from director Clint Eastwood on the set of their new film, The Changeling in Long Beach, California yesterday.
In the film, a mother's prayer for her kidnapped son to return home is answered, though it doesn't take long for her to suspect the boy who comes back is not hers. The Changeling is scheduled for release on November 7, 2008.

In related news, Hollywood is abuzz after Angelina reportedly launched a scathing attack on Brad. Reports are that Angelina was overheard complaining about Brad's financial prowess...or lack thereof, saying: "The reality is we're not a company together. Things should be separate. I think you know I make my own financial decisions. Brad knows there are times he should just be quiet and look pretty. I won't talk to Brad about this because you know how he is financially, which is stupid. Someone has to make the big decisions though."
Ouch! I guess we know who wears the financial pants in that household.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie left Venice yesterday after attending the screening of Brad's new movie The Assassination of Jesse James at the 64th Annual Venice Film Festival. They brought their children along for the trip: Maddox, 5, Pax Thien, 3, Zahara Marley, 2 and Shiloh Nouvel, 15-months.
While there, the couple announced that they are preparing for a fifth child and will soon be adopting a brother or sister for their four kids, three of whom are adopted.

The sure-fire hit western The Assassination of Jesse James was screened at the 64th Annual Venice Film Festival this weekend and cast members Brad Pitt (with Angelina Jolie), Casey Affleck and Andrew Dominik (with Robin Tunne) were all smiles on the red carpet. And, with Brangelina there, you know things were crazed.
Brad and Angelina announced during the festivities that they are preparing for a fifth child. Pitt admitted he and Jolie are "ready" for another kid. They are already adoptive parents to Cambodian Maddox, five; Vietnamese Pax Thien, three; Ethiopian Zahara Marley, two; and are biological parents to 15-month-old Shiloh Nouvel.

Usually Anglina Jolie is listed in the top ranks of the world's most beautiful women but tonight she looked scary skinny at the Oceans Thirteen premier in Hollywood. Her brother, James Haven, recently gave an explanation to Closer magazine as to Angelina's weight loss; he said "Angelina's life changed after she visited Ethiopia. Whenever she's there, there's often no food for her and she goes without. She's become used to periods of very little or no food, so she has a much smaller appetite and a different attitude to eating because of it."

Are Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt & their family safe in their new neighbourhood? According to local reports their neighbour local filmmaker and artist Helen Hill was gunned down in her home and murdered. Her husband Paul was wounded, 2-year-old Francis Pop was not harmed.
During the first seven days of 2007, eight New Orleanians were shot to death in their homes or in the streets. Brad & Angelina bought the $3.5 million French Quarter townhouse in Jan 2007.

Our thoughts are with Angelina Jolie and her family at this time following the death of her mother Marcheline Bertrand at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Bertrand lost her battle against cancer on Saturday afternoon and Jolie, her older brother, James Haven, and Brad Pitt, were at the hospital, according to the news release. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the Women's Cancer Research Institute at Cedars-Sinai.

It's common knowledge all N'oleans houses are haunted, so you can bet Angelina's lips the ghost Chez Brangelina must be a hottie! The Pittster is doing some good work in that hurricane-torn town, what with rebuilding parts of the city that were the hardest hit after teaming up with Global Green USA. He has also been pumping money into the city's film industry by filming "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" locally.
