Holy crap! I can't believe the kind of response I received to my last Hugh Laurie post. I guess he has a ton of fans out there, because they all seem to be coming out of the woodwork to tell me how sexy he is. (And don't even get me started on what some of you said that you wanted to do to him!)

I love it when you guys post comments, it's great to know that you guys are reading my blog. On an editorial note, we're going to be making a couple of changes to the MavrixOnline site to make it better for ya'll...soon you'll be able to register and log in to post comments, so I won't have to individually approve each post. Also, the site will look even cooler than it already does (as if that's even possible!).

Anyway, thanks again to Lindsay, the "Hugh-O-Holic", Ada, Val, Sandra, Bruna, June, Sarah, Theresa, Lindsey and everyone else who helped me see the hotness that is Hugh. Keep up the commenting, guys!

Taylor Swift, whose Pandora station I'm currently listening to, performed at the Country Thunder concert with Carrie Underwood last night. I'm obviously a pretty big fan, as evidenced by the fact that I've been known to sing really obnoxiously to just about every one of her songs when I drive down the road. Love her!

Mamma Mia! had its premiere party last night, complete with stars Amanda Seyfried and Meryl Streep. I read somewhere that the entire movie was leaked on the Internet, but I don't have the patience to download that kind of stuff, so I'll probably just see it in the theater. Amanda is also in the HBO show Big Love, which is coming back for its third season next year. Keep your eye on this up and coming actress, I predict big things for her in the future.

Yesterday, Carrie Underwood played a concert at Country Thunder. Are you ready for the dish? Arch-rival is set to perform at the same shindig later. Jessica is currently dating Carrie's ex boyfriend, Tony Romo. He reportedly dumped her to go with Jessica, who was photographed a couple of weeks ago wearing a shirt that read "Real Girls Eat Meat".

Carrie is a vegetarian and PETA supporter.

Injured soccer uber-star Christiano Ronaldo and his gimpy leg are in Hollywood this week, and went to Crown Bar last night. First Brittny Gastineau, now Christiano? Quick, somebody buy me a plane ticket and help me pack up my half dozen cats! I've got a club to go to!

On a gossip note, rumor has it that Paris Hilton was flirting with Ronaldo two nights ago, but he turned his back on her and walked (err...limped?) away. Burn!

Anyway, we at MavrixOnline wish Christiano a speedy and safe recovery. Personally, I can't wait to see him sweaty and ripping off his jersey again on the field!

Brittny Gastineau hit up Crown Bar in Hollywood last night, and although I love that girl to death, I'm not quite sure about her dress. It looks a little too dominatrix-ey for me, and it seems as though her poor boob is trying desperately to escape from the bondage. I'm also disappointed to see that she's a member of the peace sign club (although I suppose it's better than flipping off the camera, like some stars).

On another note, mad props and a shout out to Grace, who helped me see the "Hugh Laurie is Hot" light with her comment!

Yesterday, Heidi Montag was promoting the Wii for a females gaming crew that she was getting trained on. Earlier in the week, she was also seen having lunch with John McCain's daughter. Before that, she was photographed shooting guns.

Quick question: what doesn't Heidi Montag do? Because it looks to me like she can do just about anything.

Sordid Lives, one of the hottest shows to hit TV in forever, is finally going to hit the MTV Logo network. I seriously can't wait to see Jason Dottley. I think I'll die of desire if he takes his shirt off, and I'm not even kidding. The show was written by his soon to be husband, Del Shores (who is more than a little bit of a genius).

At 2am this morning, Andy Dick was arrested on drug and sexual battery charges. Police pulled up to his Douchemobile van and found that he had Xanax and some pot in his pockets. Sounds like a party, right?

Well, not so much when you factor in that he also sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl. He allegedly pulled down her shirt and bra in the middle of the street. After a lineup on the street, both the girl and another witness fingered Dick as the culprit. He was thrown in jail and bail was set at $5,000. It has been reported that he's still locked up (sounds like he can't make his own bail?).

I seriously hope that the legal system throws the effin' book at this toolbag. He's been causing enough problems for the last several years, and now he's assaulting minors? That's even low for him, which is saying quite a bit. I hope he catches the wrath that R. Kelly and Michael Jackson missed out on, and that the hardened criminals he's currently sharing a jail cell with have their way with him. Then again, maybe he'd like that. Barf.

Okay, at first I was totally on the Miley Cyrus train of tween awesome, but I'm starting to really get sick of her. She's everywhere! EVERYWHERE!

I get in my car to go shopping, and she's on the radio. I get to the store, and her face is plastered all over the tee shirts. I get back home to find that she's on my TV. And don't even get me started on my nieces, who love her and made their mom stand in line for practically six months to get tickets to her concert. Those Olsen twins better watch their backs, cause Miley's coming for them.

Tom and Suri Cruise went for a family set visit to see Katie Holmes whilst she filmed Eli Stone yesterday. Tom saved the day by finding Suri's doll which was almost left behind on the set before they left without it. Way to go SuperDad!!

I don't really understand why so many people think that Hugh Laurie is so hot. Maybe he's hot to middle aged soccer moms who are past their prime but refuse to admit it. Megan Fox attended the Fox All-Star Party at the Pier with Brian Austin Green last night, which I can only assume means that they're still together. To be honest with you, I was really kind of hoping that the breakup rumors were true, because that would leave more Brian Austin Green for me. I've friggin' loved that guy since I was 12. I even had posters and stuff...he was right next to Skeet Ulrich (don't judge!) and above JTT.

Brooke Hogan was hanging out by the pool earlier looking pretty damn hot and in these pictures she doesn't look manly at all. I get kind of pissed that other bloggers and people in the media give her a hard time for being tall. It's as if having a crazy mom and brother in jail to boot isn't enough punishment or something.

Anyway...is anyone watching her new reality show on VH1? I haven't had a chance to catch it yet. If so, what're your thoughts?

Both literally and figuratively! There's seriously nothing I hate more than overzealous religious a**holes trying to dictate to others how they should live their lives. Good for Sordid Lives star Jason Dottley and his soon to be hubby , the talented Queer as Folk producer and Sordid Lives writer and director Del Shores, for giving them a piece of their minds. They also get bonus mad props and a shout out for looking effin' hot while doing it.

As an aside, you can totally tell that tubby dude on the right is kind of digging what he's seeing, while the dude holding the sodomy sign is pining for the gay lover he pretends he doesn't have.

So I just got back from camping, and apparently while I was gone Brooke Hogan decided to go and make herself a sex symbol. What the hell kind of shorts are those? I've seen dental floss provide more coverage!

Anyway, Brooke's new reality show seems to be hitting the ground running, because she's been followed everywhere lately. And you know what? Good for her! She's the best Hogan around, and she's worked hard to be where she's at today. Did you see the episodes of Hogan Knows Best when she went on a diet? Cause I did. I watched it while housing an entire box of Oreos.

Miley Cyrus and friends/castmates had some serious fun last week frolicking in the surf while in Malibu filming her latest "Hannah Montana" project.

Meanwhile, just as the scandal surrounding the "Vanity Fair" photos seems to be dying down, it's reported that a new set of risque photos of Smiley Miley have surfaced on the Internet via a hacker who somehow managed to get access to Miley's personal e-mail account and steal some photos Miley took of herself with her iPhone. Who knows what'll come of this one but it certainly seems that as 15-year-old Miley won't be a stranger to scandal as her already-thriving career continues.

Brooke Hogan, joined by Ashley Menendez and Glenn Douglas Packard, looked pretty darned stunning last night at Mansion night club in Miami Beach where the premiere party for her new VH1 reality show "Brooke Knows Best" was held. I'm sure Hulk is proud of her but, I wonder how he feels that he's no longer the one that knows best?

Entourage is probably one of the best shows on TV, and the good people at HBO are currently working on another season. Awhile back, I watched a documentary where Adrian Grenier tried to find his real dad, and ever since then I've been a pretty big fan of the guy. He seemed really fun and cool, although kind of hippie-ish. Still, he replaced Kevin C. as my favorite.

Miley Cyrus threw on a blonde wig and got back to work yesterday, filming scenes in Malibu for Hannah Montana. I had the great displeasure of wandering the aisles of Wal Mart while looking for camping equipment earlier this morning, and Hannah Montana stuff was EVERYWHERE. Miley has to be a bazillionaire, because I watched as two preteen girls fought over a pair of Hannah Montana sunglasses. I was ready to watch a cage match, but the mom tore them away from the merchandise.

Mad props and a birthday shout out to Jessica Simpson, who turns 28 today. I love Jessica Simpson, and I'll tell you why: she totally has Katie Price syndrome. People like to underestimate her and think that she's dumb (remember the tuna comment on Newlyweds?), but she's actually an uber savvy business woman.

From hair extensions and lickable lotion to shoes and acne treatments, she's peddled just about everything and it's made her filthy rich. Good for her!

Ashley Tisdale is back from her Hawaiian vacation, and I swear she's smiling in every picture I've seen so far. She's like, little Mary Sunshine or something. It would be awesome if just once she pulled a Naomi Campbell and threw a phone at somebody or something, but I won't hold my breath waiting for it.

Sometimes it's refreshing to see nice people still exist in Hollywood.

Everyone and their dog seems to be having babies this week. Now, we can add Matthew McConaughey to the list. Matt and his girlfriend Camilla Alves popped out a 7 pound, 4 oz baby boy yesterday. Unfortunately, he has yet to be named.

As you probably know, Matthew's older brother, Rooster, named his boy Miller Lyte. The bar has been set! Matt, you're up!

Nicole Kidman had her baby, and for the first time in months we have a name that is on par with Nicole Richie's Harlow Winter!!! Woo hoo!!!

Nicole and her husband, Keith Urban, named the baby girl Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. I'm not so sure about the dual last name thing, but Sunday Rose is pretty awesome. Congrats to the happy family!

Just thought I'd remind you that while the rich and famous are partying with Dolce and Gabbana, you're back in your company's cubicle farm nursing a hangover and cursing the lady sitting across from you for wearing too much perfume and listening to her light rock radio station a little too loud. Awesome.

Anyway, there are different levels of rich, as these photos illustrate. I think you've pretty much hit the upper echelon of loaded when you have a team of people whose only job is to carry big ass umbrellas to shield you from the throngs of paparazzi vying for a shot of you losing your balance on a boat.

Flaming, on fire, whatev. Perez Hilton hosted a 4th of July celebration at Prive, and I have the pictures in my inbox to prove it. He debuted a new hairdo AND a new body when he went topless for a video blog.

It's been a busy time for Perez, he recently came out with his own clothing line for Hot Topic stores (which I hear has been doing very well). Congrats on everything to Perez! Keep it up, kid!
