Now that the California Supreme Court has struck down the ban on gay marriage in the state, Ellen Degeneres announced on her show today that she and long-time girlfriend Portia De Rossi are getting married. Portia was in the audience for the announcement and the studio audience went wild when the announcement was made giving the happy couple a standing ovation. A standing ovation is in order for the Supreme Court of California, also!
