According to a statement released by the Palm Springs Police Department, Gary Dourdan was arrested and booked for possession of narcotics and possession of dangerous drugs on Monday, April 28. After booking, he was released on $5,000 bail. At approximately 5:12 a.m. a patrol officer saw an occupied vehicle parked on the wrong side of the street with the interior light on and the occupant of the vehicle in the driver's seat sleeping. The officer identified the occupant as Robert Gary Durdin (aka Dourdan) and described him as disoriented and possibly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Why is it that celebrities like Robert Durdin and Robert Downey Jr. are arrested and paraded across the news in Palm Springs because of a simple tip? Its because the Palm Springs police department is paid off.
I have personally tipped of a certain methamphetamine dealer in the area for months and NOTHING IS DONE TO ARREST HIM. He lives less than two blocks from the police department and can't even get as much a search of his rental apartment but Robert Downey Jr. can have his private room at the Merv Griffin/Givenchy spa raided because of a single anonymous tip from a Cathedral City phone booth...it is discrimination and very unjust
