John Mayer signed an autograph for a fan yesterday outside the restaurant Dan Tana's in West Hollywood. The fan seems thrilled! But, was he still a happy camper when he realized that the John Mayer autograph he thought he got on his pick guard reads Eric Roberts instead?

Ok, so we know John Mayer is a musician/songwriter/singer by trade. However, he seems to be a comedian at heart. A funny one to boot. This is the best little prank he has pulled yet!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see his next one. It must be very taxing for the celebrities to get hounded. And to have to save face and sign autographs for people that demand them only to sell them. I mean really that guys approach and reaction was pretty ridiculous. Of course that's just my opinion. Then again who knows, he may have been in on "it". LOL
