As many fans of the film Sordid Lives already know the cult classic is being turned into a tv series for MTV's LOGO network. And, the good news is it's in production and on its way! We found series stars Olivia Newton-John (Bitsy Mae Harling) and Rue McClanahan (Peggy Ingram) on set recently with co-stars Sarah Hunley (Juanita Bartlett), Jason "JDot" Dottley (Ty Williamson) with his cute little friend Ty Guapo and writer/director Del Shores.

It's reported that the show will premiere on June 1 of this year and I, for one, just can't wait!!

The bar scenes were filmed at a club called Central Station in Shreveport, Louisiana. Del Shores is an awesome guy! I wish all the cast good luck and you know they are as down to earth and sweet as people can get.

How cute is JDot? This should make him a star. Olivia looks adorable.

I am really looking forward to this TV show. I loved the movie and the show should be just as good. I am so happy they have Rue McClanahan. I am a huge fan of The Golden Girls it will be great to see her again, and of course Olivia she is the highlight of the show for me!

Sordid Lives movie is hilarius! I've seen it several times. Olivia and all the cast are spectacular! Olivia nailed the role. I'm excited to know that the TV sitcom version of the movie will be on soon. Thank you Del Shores for giving us this very funny comedy. We need more like it! Go Rue and Olivia! You both rock!
