Beyonce Knowles' next on-screen role is reported to be Etta James in Cadillac Records directed by Darnell Martin. The film, to be shot in New Jersey and Mississippi, will explore Chicago in the 1950s, charting the colorful lives of American musical legends like Muddy Waters, Chess, Little Walter, Howlin' Wolf and Elvis Presley. Co-stars in the film will include Adrien Brody, Jeffrey Wright, Columbus Short, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Tammy Blanchard.
