Wesley Snipes had a sour look on his face as he arrived at the nightclub Hyde in West Hollywood last night.
It could be because tax evasion charges are reportedly being brought against him. His lawyers are currently trying to move his trial from Ocala, FL to Orlando or New York, NY, stating he cannot get a fair trial in the small Florida town. Lawyers say the actor is entitled to a trial in New York because he lived there when the alleged offenses occurred btween October 2000 and April 2005. He also has a home in Orlando.
It's reported that Snipes has also previously filed motions to dismiss or transfer the trial because of racial prejudices in Ocala.
An October 2006 federal indictment charges Snipes with fraudulently claiming refunds totaling almost $12 million in 1996 and 1997 for income taxes already paid.
