Reports are Velvet Revolver and former Stone Temple Pilots front man Scott Weiland was arrested for driving under the influence in Los Angeles on November 21 and is due in court on December 13. According to the report, he was involved in a non-injury collision for which he was determined to be at fault and exhibited signs of "impairment" at the scene. Field sobriety tests were administered and he was taken to the LAPD jail in Van Nuys where he reportedly refused to take a blood or urine test. He was later released on $40,000 bail. Scott Weiland has been arrested multiple times in the past for a variety of drug offenses and was arrested in 2003 after a Hollywood traffic accident and charged with driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Those charges were eventually dismissed after he successfully completed a drug rehab program and submitted to drug tests.
