Actress and comedienne Jenny McCarthy was on the town for some Christmas shopping yesterday along Robertson Blvd. in West Hollywood, visiting Kitson, Intermix and Adriano Goldschmied before heading to lunch at The Newsroom.

McCarthy recently used her star power to light the holiday tree in Legoland, Calif. She's been working for months to bring attention to the need for autism research, and the role she believes a good diet plays in treating it. She and her son, Evan, who is a victim of the illness, have become synonymous with Autism, promoting awareness and her new book, "Louder than Words - A Mother's Journey in Healing Autism."
