American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee, along with her boyfriend Nick Cokas and a friend, shopped for jewelry in Beverly Hills yesterday. Katharine and her friend first shopped at Tiffany's on Rodeo Dr. and then walked to the Alan Friedman jewelry shop where Cokas met them. She tried on various items including diamond earrings and a beautiful diamond heart necklace.
Katherine was bewildered by all the attention she received from the photographers while she was on her shopping trip.
Katherine, 23 and Nick, 42 have been dating publicly for around a year and even beforehand, rumors circulated about the couple bing together. They're now reportedly engaged and, according to a friend, "[McPhee] is all smiles when she talks about the planning. It sounds like everything is going very smoothly."
