With reports circulating that her romantic comedy with actor Luke Wilson, Blonde Ambition, is going straight to DVD in the US due to her poor acting in the film, Jessica Simpson is reportedly going back to her Texas roots and preparing to record her first country album.
Reports are that Simpson is going to be settling down in Nashville to begin working on the album and was spotted at a filming of CMT’s "Crossroads" on Thursday night. She's reportedly been in meetings with country singers and industry people including John Rich of Big & Rich.
