Ani DiFranco performed live at the Rolling Stone in Milan, recently. DiFranco emerged during the grunge era but, unlike many of the generation, she is certainly no slacker. Ani has reportedly rejected all major labels and has self-released no less than seventeen studio albums in as many years and has pursued a relentless tour schedule.
Her current tour, in promotion of Canon her new and first greatest hits collection, makes a welcome return to smaller venues.
