Richard Gere with wife Carey Lowell and costars Terrance Howard and Diane Kruger attended the 64th Annual Venice Film Festival this weekend, touting his new movie, The Hunting Party, in which he plays a discredited journalist who tries to track down Bosnian Serb fugitive Radovan Karadzic, indicted for war crimes at the UN tribunal in The Hague.
Gere reportedly recently spoke out against China for its human rights policies and urged a worldwide boycott the 2008 Olympics in Bejing.
