Michael Caine, Jude Law and director Kenneth Branagh separated the men from the boys, arriving yesterday at the 64th Annual Venice Film Festival for the screening of their film, Sleuth.

The distinguished team responsible for the new version of "Sleuth" emphasizes that this is no ordinary remake. Anthony Shaffer's 1972 screenplay has been completely rewritten, keeping the outlines, but gutting it as comprehensively as the new location - still an English country house on the outside, but its interior transformed into a hypermodern space of glass, stone and steel, equipped with all the latest electronic gadgets and surveillance devices.
