Keisha Castle-Hughes spent some time on the beach with friends, yesterday, in Malibu at Paris Hilton's rented beach-front home.
Keisha was only 12 when she tackled her first film role in Whale Rider. She's gone on to regal roles as Mary in Nativity Story and Queen Naboo in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
The 17-year-old actress gave birth to her first child, daughter Felicity-Amore, on April 25 and recently celebrated the official opening of her native New Zealand's Te Whare Whai Hua, a newly renovated teen parent unit. She spoke to a 200-strong crowd in a coming-together of teenage parents, Gisborne MPs, Ministry of Education officials and numerous community members. "She spoke words of inspiration," said Te Aka Ora Charitable Trust general manager Janice Petty. "It was actually wonderful to see someone with the calibre of Keisha stand up and talk about some of the issues affecting teen parents."
