The Reverend Jesse Jackson visited the UK recently with hundreds of people attending his final meeting in Nottingham last Friday. Jackson spoke about the need for self belief and the need to get organized to stimulate change. People chanted, “I am somebody,” after Martin Luther King’s famous phrase.
While in the UK, Jackson enjoyed dinner at Cipriani where he was greeted outside by Renault Formula One Racing Manager Flavio Briatore, who was also having dinner at the restaurant.
