Actor, writer and producer Jason Dottley and his friend Katherine Bailess shopped at Kitson on Robertson Blvd. before heading into the Newsroom Café for a spot of lunch, today.
Dottley, who has been married to Sordid Lives writer Del Shores since October, 2003, will be starring in the new "Sordid Lives" TV series on LOGO as Ty, a disturbed, closeted homo with tons of issues. He first appeared in the role during the stage version's nationwide tour. The series will also star Olivia Newton-John, Delta Burke and Leslie Jordan (Beverly Leslie from the series "Will & Grace") who have signed on to play the characters they portrayed in the film.
Actress, musician and dancer Katherine will also co-star in "Sordid Lives" and has appeared in From Justin to Kelly, "One Tree Hill" and "Gilmore Girls."

I saw Jason in St. Louis in the Del Shore's play "Southern Baptist Sissies" why haven't we seen him on TV? I hope the upcoming series will give him the exposure he needs. Pay attention Hollywood, you need this young talent and discerning audiences need "Sordid Lives"!

jason i am glad you finally have a little time to do what you love most----shopping. wish i were there. again thank you for being the wonderful person you are and the only concern i have is you working too hard but keep it up. i am so thankful i was able to tour with you guys last year. what fun and what insight to the lives of others. i know the rest of the world will love "SORDID LIVES-THE SERIES" and who wouldn't fall in love with you!!!i know "some" other parents will be wishng you were theirs--i am soooo proud of you-my son, my best friend and most of all that you are able to live your life honestly. give del a big hug and the girls too love mom

I cannot believe that someone as busy as you are has the time to shop and dine like the rest of us. I hope you are enjoying the leisure time available to you now, as we all know how hectic life can be when you are working full time (I can only imagine how hard it will be to get a good meal while on set- ha!). Hey there cuz, looking great as always! Holley told me about your new show coming up we are all looking forward to watching it! Jason has a great smile and is full of CHARM. Unlike Ty, it doesn't appear that Jason is at all a disturbed, closeted homo with tons of issues--he's out and about with his pal Katherine. A very happy and GAY GUY....Can't wait for "SORDID LIVES THE SERIES" to start....
