Amy Winehouse & husband Blake Fielder-Civil checked into The Causeway, a private addiction treatment center after they admitted a heroin addiction to their families following Amy's overdose on a potentially deadly cocktail of booze & drugs last week.
After only 48 hours in the plush treatment facility, they quit their rehab program and left The Causeway via helicopter amid reports and returned to their Camden home and the bad influences that landed them both in rehab in the first place.
Now, it looks like, after just one night out of rehab, Amy is back in and she will not be performing at this weekend's V Festival as planned. Her spokesman said: “Amy Winehouse is putting all her touring commitments on hold until further notice in order to address her health issues. Amy will not now be performing at this weekend’s V Festival in Chelmsford and Staffordshire. Her family has requested that the media respect Amy’s privacy at this time. There will be no further comment.”
The Causeway is a therapuetic retreat located on a private island in Essex with 350 acres of rugged outstanding natural beauty one hour from central London. Road access is restricted to low tide only. Helicopter access takes 20 minutes from central London.
