Nicole Richie, pregnant with her first child, was "stoic and serious, but not emtional" as she was sentenced to jailtime in L.A. County Superior Court today for her wrong-way DUI bust in December. The sentence marked her second DUI conviction in four years.
The court commissioner sentenced Richie, represented by her lawyer Shawn Chapmen Holley, to serve four days in her choice of the City or County Jail (Her choice?!?!). She received credit for a fifth day for the six hours she served after being arrested.
She was also fined $2,048, ordered back to school for 21 days for an alcohol education course and was placed on three years probation.
Richie must report to serve her time before September 28th. She is due to give birth in January, 2008.

I really do not understand why the laws are so extremely different for our country! 1 DUI no licence and 2 DUI'S EQUATES TO PROBATION OFFICER AND NO LINCENSE FOR YEARS, PLUS INCARCERATION....AND MONEY.
