Morrissey is still usually labeled "ex-Smiths singer," even though it's been 20 years since they broke up. Even so, his solo work rivals the quality and depth of the beloved British band's work.
Backed by an energetic band, Morrissey performed solo hits along with Smiths classics and tracks from his latest album, Ringleader of the Tormentors.
Kristeen Young, who is inspired by not only the Smiths but Hazel O'Connor, Hedwig, and Robert Plant, among others opened for Morrissey.
